why "adam's garage"?

It is the end of summer - well, at least the summer we teachers know about. Y'know, the summer break that lasts only ten short weeks before it's "back to the trenches" time once more. But before this teacher fills his rations and loads his cartouche for combat, methinks it may be a worthwhile diversion to begin an all-purpose, one-size-fits-all blog - provide an outlet for all the angst & epiphanies.

Now, just because this blog happens to be self-titled with something to do with a garage, doesn't necessarily mean that it has anything to do with garages per se. Rather, the intent here was to somehow create a virtual garage for folks to visit - after all, for a guy like me at least, having my own garage would be the most sublime location of glorious solitude and reflection. I suppose some would rather have chosen "lounge" or "cafe" or "bunker" or "parlor".....for me, the place I'd like to share random musings and consternations is my own garage - a place that exists only on the interweb. A place that might allow individuals of a multitude of allegiances and flavors to pop in unannounced, and regale us with bits of trivia and perhaps wisdom.

After all, why not? Because it is there.....
